Membership Policy

The Manuel White Chapel membership policy aims to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all members. It outlines the types of memberships available, the application process, rights and responsibilities, financial obligations, and procedures for maintaining good standing within the community.

 

 

Regular Membership Regular membership is open to individuals aged 18 and older who express an interest in the role of the chapel in the community. Members enjoy full voting rights, access to all chapel activities and resources, and the opportunity to serve on committees.

Student Membership Student membership is available to individuals currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution. This membership allows students to participate in chapel events, receive mentorship opportunities, and access resources at a reduced fee.

Family Membership Family memberships are designed for households desiring to engage together in chapel activities. This membership option provides activities and educational programming for all family members.

Honorary Membership Honorary membership recognizes exceptional contributions to the chapel or community. Honorary members are not required to pay dues but still receive invitations to events and meetings.

 

 

The application for membership within Manuel White Chapel can be submitted online or in person. Prospective members must submit a completed application form along with any required documentation, such as proof of student status for student memberships. The membership committee will review submissions monthly, and applicants will be notified of their status via email.

 

 

Every member holds a voice within the Manuel White Chapel. Members are encouraged to participate in meetings, volunteer for committees, and contribute ideas and feedback. Members are also expected to embody the chapel’s values in their conduct, ensuring a harmonious environment for all.

 

 

Dues are essential to the chapel’s operations, and members are required to pay dues by a specified deadline each year. Details of dues amounts, payment methods, and options for financial hardship can be found in the membership packet.

 

 

Members will receive notifications regarding the renewal process 60 days prior to their membership expiration. Renewal can be completed online, and members are encouraged to ensure that their contact information is up to date.

 

 

Membership may be terminated due to non-payment of dues after a grace period or if a member fails to adhere to the core values and conduct outlined in this policy. The member may appeal this decision in writing within 30 days of notification.

 

 

Regular meetings will be held quarterly, with additional special meetings scheduled as necessary. Members will receive adequate notice, and all members are encouraged to participate actively.

 

 

Maintaining an up-to-date membership policy is essential for adapting to the needs of our community. Members can propose amendments through a formal submission process, and all proposed changes will be voted on at the next scheduled meeting.

 

 

In the event of a conflict, members are encouraged to resolve issues amicably. Should the matter remain unresolved, a formal mediation process will be initiated.
